Dinosaur Bone:

Petrified Dinosaur Bone or “Gembone" is the result of fossilized bone from dinosaurs in which the cellular structure has been replaced with chalcedony, leaving the bone structure intact. Since the most frequent mineral found in dinosaur gembone is chalcedony, it is referred to as agatized dino (saur) bone even if other materials are present as well. This rare and distinctive material may be sold as rough bone, as partly or completely polished pieces or as jewelry pieces, whether in cabochons or finished items. The resulting stone is a 7 on the Mohs scale. Showing beautiful red coloring and very nice distinctive cell patterns.
Many excellent specimens of dinosaur bone are found in and around the American southwest. Dinosaur bone ranges in color from brown to black with splotches of red, blue and bright yellow. Dark yellow-gold and red colored dinosaur bone is also found but is even more rare. The coloring of the specimen is due to impurities that were in the surrounding sediment.

Cobalt Metal Details:

•Strength: Is wear-resistant (more scratch resistant than Titanium), high-strength (shatterproof and 5x harder than Gold) and hypoallergenic
•Color: Much whiter than Titanium bands (often compared to Platinum in appearance)
•Weight: Heavier in weight than Titanium (very similar in weight to Gold)
•Emergency Removal: Requires a separating disc, but these discs are readily available and make it possible for virtually any jewelry shop or emergency room to safely remove a Cobalt band.

Gibeon Meteorite Ring

The Gibeon is a fine octahedrite iron meteorite that appeared as a visible star and landed in Namibia, Africa. It is believed that Gibeon meteorite traveled through space for about 4 billion years before it was finally pulled towards the earth because of its gravitational field. It was derived from the core of the planets that became extinct during the formation of the solar system. Thousands of pieces of meteorites landed in the desert of Namibia, Africa. The meteorites take millions of years to cool down which causes a unique crystalline pattern called widmanstatten lines. Experts consider Gibeon meteorite, one of the finest meteorites used for jewelry. Authentic Gibeon meteorite is considered one of the rarest meteorites in the world. Meteorites are composed of iron, nickel, and traces of cobalt. Gibeon Meteorites have a higher concentration of nickel which makes them an optimal material for unique handcrafted jewelry.
